1. Service Overview

Cloak (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a local iOS app management tool built on Apple’s official FamilyControls, DeviceActivity and ManagedSettings frameworks. It provides local services including app hiding, scheduled locking, daily usage time limits, home screen icon disguise, group management, and full feature unlocking via VIP paid subscriptions. All control logic runs locally on your device; there is no cloud remote monitoring or remote control functionality.

The App offers Free Version and VIP Subscription Version:

VIP subscriptions are processed via official App Store In-App Purchases.

📌 Important Notice: By downloading, installing, opening or using this App, you confirm that you have fully read, understood and voluntarily agreed to all terms herein. If you disagree with any clause, please uninstall the App and discontinue all use immediately.

2. Device Usage Rules

  1. You may only use this App on iPhone and iPad devices that you legally own and hold full usage rights to.
  2. It is strictly prohibited to install and enable control functions without the device owner’s consent, or illegally restrict and monitor others’ mobile usage. You shall bear all civil, administrative and criminal liabilities arising therefrom.
  3. Do not use the App to evade corporate/school device management rules, or crack system restrictions and maliciously modify system settings.

3. Prohibited Conduct

While using the App, you agree not to engage in the following activities:

  1. Decompile, reverse engineer, tamper with installation packages, crack subscriptions, pirate, repackage and distribute the App;
  2. Exploit App vulnerabilities to mass-grab system app identifiers, occupy system permissions maliciously or disrupt normal device operation;
  3. Utilize the App for online fraud, theft of others’ privacy, or malicious restriction of third-party devices;
  4. Share your subscription benefits with devices not owned by you, or sell/rent subscription privileges to others.
⚠️ Consequences of Violations: If you commit any severe violation listed above, the developer reserves the right to terminate service provision without refund of any paid subscription fees. The developer retains all rights to pursue legal remedies.

4. VIP Subscription Terms

1. Charging & Billing Cycle

Subscription cycles are displayed on the App Store purchase page. Fees are automatically deducted from your linked Apple account. Auto-renewal charges will be processed within 24 hours prior to expiration.

2. Auto-Renewal Management

You may disable auto-renewal at any time via iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. No further charges will be incurred after deactivation upon expiry.

3. Subscription Entitlements

No account registration is required for this App. VIP access is identified via your Apple ID. VIP privileges are bound to the Apple ID used for purchase and can be restored across all devices logged into the same ID, but cannot be transferred or shared with other Apple IDs.

4. Refund Policy

All billing and refund procedures are independently reviewed and handled by Apple. The developer has no authority to process refunds. Please contact Apple Support directly for refund requests.

5. System Compatibility Disclaimer

If major iOS updates or official Apple framework interface adjustments temporarily disable or limit certain features, the developer will release fixes as soon as possible. If Apple permanently shuts down relevant APIs rendering core features unusable, the developer will offer a pro-rata refund for remaining subscription time or other reasonable compensation solutions. Users may choose to continue service or apply for refunds via official Apple channels.

6. Subscription Data Statement

Anonymous transaction credentials generated from subscriptions are only stored locally for entitlement verification and will not be uploaded to the cloud. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Service Disclaimer

  1. The App relies on official iOS system frameworks to deliver control capabilities. If Apple disables or restricts related APIs, partial or all functions may cease to work. The developer will make reasonable adaptation efforts but shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred.
  2. The developer accepts no liability for compensation if control rules fail or data loss occurs due to system failures, outdated OS versions, disabled permissions or device factory resets.
  3. This App is a utility tool subject to framework limitations. Certain system apps and components cannot be managed, which is an inherent system restriction.
  4. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service at all times. Regular maintenance and optimizations will be performed but zero bugs are not warranted.

6. User Data Handling

  1. All configuration data is stored locally within the device sandbox only and never uploaded to the cloud. Uninstalling the App permanently erases all data automatically. Storage and permission rules are detailed in the Privacy Policy.
  2. You are responsible for safeguarding your device. Liability for tampered settings or data leakage resulting from lost or lent devices rests solely with you.
  3. Should the developer discontinue App operations, a 60-day advance in-app notice will be issued. Active subscribers retain full access for the remaining subscription period with no auto-renewal upon expiry.

7. Use by Minors

Minors must have their legal guardians fully read and accept these Terms before using the App. Guardians shall properly supervise minors’ device usage. The time control feature is merely an auxiliary tool; the developer bears no oversight responsibility for minors’ online behavior.

8. Terms Updates

The developer reserves the right to revise these Terms in response to legislative amendments, Apple platform rule changes or product function iterations. Updated terms will be displayed via an in-app popup notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised agreement. The latest version will be posted on both the App Store product page and public web page.

9. Dispute Resolution

  1. The formation, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
  2. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or App usage shall first be resolved via amicable negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the people’s court with jurisdiction at the developer’s registered location.

10. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected.
